Processed meats includes deli meat, sausages, stuffed meats, pate, minced meat, pepperoni, and salami.
Food poisoning can increase the risk of miscarriage, and processed meats like sausage bear bacteria like Toxoplasma gondii, listeria, or salmonella, which can cause food poisoning. These bacteria can not only cause miscarriages but can also cause premature delivery and stillbirth. So basically, pregnant women should avoid processed and undercooked foods.
So there you have it! Shawarma can cause miscarriage, and pregnant women should avoid or limit their intake. Shawarma won’t increase the risk of having a miscarriage if it is made without any processed meat or without any meat at all. Chicken can also be used as an alternative to sausages for shawarma. To be on the safe side, pregnant women should avoid shawarma and other processed meats so they won’t have issues with miscarriages or stillbirth.
Pregnant women should eat foods that will improve and enhance foetal health. Fast and processed foods are not among the foods that can improve your little one’s health. Eat foods that contain nutrients that can nourish your baby’s health. Foods like eggs and vegetables Fish as food (fishes like Bigeye tuna, King mackerel, Marlin, Orange roughy, Swordfish, Shark, Tilefish should be avoided), dairy products, fruits, salmon, leaf vegetables, oranges, whole grain. Studies have suggested that nuts, kale, and avocados could help protect women from suffering miscarriages. Scientists have found that being deficient in vitamin E starves an embryo of vital energy and nutrients it needs to grow.

There can be a lot of misconceptions about miscarriages. There are certain myths about miscarriages that people just assume without proof or theory. Some of those myths include,
Miscarriage is rare
Miscarriages aren’t rare. Just because people around you don’t go through it doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Miscarriage occurs in 10 to 15% of pregnancies.
Miscarriages are completely preventable
Miscarriage cannot be controlled by the mother. A miscarriage cannot be prevented in most cases. In fact, most early miscarriages are caused by genetic abnormalities that are far beyond the control of a mom-to-be.

You shouldn’t wait so long before you conceive again after a miscarriage. A woman can ovulate and become pregnant as soon as two weeks after a miscarriage.
